"It's so rewarding to see them come from life in the shelter where they're so skittish all the time, and you bring them home and they're not really sure, then after a few days their personality starts to come out and they relax and you can tell what kind of dog they really are. It's great! That's the whole point too –– is that they get ready to be adopted. It makes them more adoptable. And it's hard! I've cried every time that a foster has gone away, but you also know that they're going to this awesome family or this great life, so you get over it."
